Assessment of USAID MARKETS project in Nigeria

In February, Crimson experts completed an assessment of the Maximizing Agricultural Revenue and Key Enterprises in Targeted Sites (MARKETS) project in Nigeria. MARKETS is a $52 million, USAID-funded activity, focused on improving rural livelihoods by expanding economic opportunities in agricultural sectors in Nigeria.

The Crimson-led assessment reviewed MARKETS project economic impact including job creation, increase in rural incomes, targeted value chain development, access to agricultural credit, and improved agricultural practices. The assessment was conducted through the GBTI II IQC, under a subcontract to Sibley International.
